FX had a unique challenge in promoting Season 6 of American Horror Story - the theme of the season would not be revealed until the premiere. How can you tease a season with no story, footage, or style to work from? FX’s brilliant solution was a mystery campaign where all possibilities were on the table. Unique ?6 logo designs were created for dozens of horror genres, and the corresponding teases left the fan base squirming and desperate for more.
We created five original graphic IDs and a handful of endpages for FX’s live-action spots.

What better excuse to tap into our dark sides than an ID and promo package for American Horror Story? Taking cues from the show itself, we unashamedly packed in as many pagan-inspired symbols as we could, hand painted animations in Photoshop, shot stop-motion of rotting flower petals and assembled the whole thing using bits of bone and the saliva of a mangy black cat.
