So, yeah, these happened... FXX asked us to make some IDs that would help set the tone for the Network’s out there attitude. Here’s what we came up with.
These spots are surrealist juxtapositions of random objects; arranged in such a way to help broaden your mind and relax your soul. We traveled from location to location with a trunk of random props and set them up in whatever way struck us at that moment. We also made use of whatever we found at the location, and brought along a couple of interesting looking people to give it that human connection. Anything was fair game as long as it made no logical sense… more or less.
Everyone knows that the internet is wise and all-knowing. Here we made shit up, but presented it in a completely convincing way. With scientifically accurate diagrammatic simulations and thoughtfully designed infographics, we offered mind-blowing facts that stuck with viewers for days. We also used the classic meme font Impact to give the spots an air of internet authenticity. Viewers were so blown away that they told their friends and coworkers about all the cool stuff they learned on FXX and the Network's brand awareness spread like a wild virus.
